Owner changed on new directory/files.

I have joomla installed running fine.
When I install new components, the directories and the files get the owner "httpd:httpd", instead of "my_user_name".
By creating a ticket got this resolved, but each time I add something it gets wrong again.
I don't know if this is a joomla bug, or glitch related to a shared environment.
 
It is apache :) Joomla uses the httpd user for files uploaded, if you upload via FTP it will be your user ID

mmmh, well these files were uploaded all together inside a .zip file via the browser. The instalator takes the .zip files and expand it inside the joomla directories.
So, I understand that the zip file on the server might get the httpd user, but the uncompressed files, shouldn't have the original owner?
