If I delete "AWStats/awstats_archive.mydomain.log" will the server automatically recreate the file when it writes to it? If not, how do you recommend I clear the data in it?

When I go into "Reports" and then "Disk Usage", I add up all my MB for my users and it only adds up to 824 MB. In my Admin Control panel it's saying I'm using 2,221 MB's and also sending me emails that I am approaching my limit. Where's the other 1,397MB's that it says I'm using coming from...
