    Website not working

Oh, I guess I didn't read carefully. Sorry. From the error I saw earlier, it looks like you're going to need to request that your SQL login be granted dbo rights to your database. I think WWF and SOOP require that when you use SQL. The error mentioned something about WWF and dbo rights...

    Website not working

If you just registered or transferred the domain, you need to allow a day or two for DNS propogation. Actually, I can already see your site, but it takes different amounts of time for different networks to get the DNS info around the world.

Need Answer To Ticket (Was Moving Domain)

Ouch. Sorry if I gave you bum advice. The site that I used was a PHP site, so maybe it's a weird ColdFusion thing. I don't know anything about ColdFusion.

Be nice to Yash and team Day!

I have been through 4 hosts before JodoHost and, in that context, I am very pleased. In any case, we would all do well to treat others the same way you want them to treat you. I'm not suggesting that we be so timid that we don't report problems... but let's be sure to report them in a kind...

    Moving domain

I did something like this before. I moved a domain from a Windows server to a Linux server. It was a PHPBB forum. Just back up all the files and databases to your computer. Also, note the e-mail settings which you will need to recreate later. Then, delete the domain from your control panel...

    Stephen?

Hey, whatever happened to Stephen? He hasn't posted here since 8-10-2004. Does he still work for JodoHost?

Change user from unpaid to paid account?

I'd like to be able to do this, too. My fake solution was to simply credit the account and note it as OTHER instead of CHECK or whatever and make a note that it was just a credit so I didn't bill the customer.

Possible Spam from my email address...

I wouldn't worry about it. It's easier than easy to spoof an e-mail address and that's probably what happened here. The message seems to have originated somewhere in the Netherlands.

    intermittent down times

My system shows Win5, Win6, Win7 not responding to pings and SMTP and POP3 not responding on Mail. According to my system, these have been down since 2:56PM Eastern.

    JodoHost Redesign (Again)

Overall, looks pretty good. Since you are asking, I found a couple of nit-pickies. The front page advertises 99.9% uptime but the page it links to still lists 99.5%. The "Why Us" page also lists 99.5. The last nine in "99.9%" on the front page looks different than the other 2 nines...

    Monitor Server Response More Closely

I had an incident last night that was rather frustrating. My company web site and a web site of one of my clients are on Win6. Last night, they were effectively down. Both sites are dependent on ASP and Access databases. Either ASP or the Jet database engine were hung up. I was able to...

    Server Status Info

It would be nice if jodostatus were put to more use. Ideally, I'd like to see you guys publish your up-to-the-minute uptime stats there. Any chance of that?

    Irritating adware problem

When AdAware and Spybot fail, I use HijackThis. http://www.merijn.org/downloads.html Be careful with it. You might also find it helpful to run these tools in safe mode first.
