There is no support for more than one FTP user via the CP for Windows servers... This is somthing that will come out with the new version of Hsphere but until then all windows sub-ftp accounts need to be added by hand.

I don't even know how you would use MSDE on a shared server... unless it is your own BOX. Many development companies use MSDE because of cost compared to using MSSQL...

Is it a windows account? Multi FTP users is only supported under Linux. You can email support and they might make you a extra FTP username but I am not 100% on that. Also the only time dedicated IP is needed is for anonymous FTP...

Did you check where mail.yourdomain.com points to? Does it point to the correct IP? It should end in .11.

No No... you can have just one domain on a dedicated IP but when you select dedicated IP while making the plan the system wants to give a IP to everything domain or sub domain. So what you need to do is select shared IP and either set a hard limit or set a price per IP then you can select what...

When you made the plan in Hsphere you must have set it to have a dedicated IP and this is why it does this with ever domain and sub domain. You can change it in the plan but chances are for the changes to work with the account you will have to delete it and re-sign up. I think once dedicated it...

So if you give him a 1000 dollar credit it still does not work? It could be a bug in Hsphere but more likely something little that is being over looked... That is always my luck anyway.

Correct me if I am wrong... but the servers should be setup with Hsphere to allow the IIS anonymous user read and write permissions on the entire site? Meaning any web user can write to any folder on the site. I think Psoft does this by default to save on support tickets asking to allow this...

EM runs like crap on anything newer then ME including 2000. It takes a long time to download all the database details. What do you need to do to a database? You could install a web based MSSQL manager that is quick. However there are somethings you can only do with EM. Markey

I think SpamAssassin would be great. I use it on another provider and they allow each mail box to control its settings on or off, tag or delete and the level of detection. Saves me a lot of time. Markey

Horde can also be found at web.yourservicedomain.com/horde (assuming you kept web as the default server alias. Maybe Jodo can add Horde to mail.yourdomain.com page. Some providers take you right to web mail when you type mail.domain.com with hsphere... Also you can install your own copy...
