The .net version of my service domain is exactly how I moved to Jodohost. I am actually still using both hosts. I highly recommend doing it that way if possible.

I have a client on a Unix account. I need to set recursive permissions on a folder that contains many folders and files. To do this by hand would take awhile. What is the best way to accomplish this?

My point wasn't that it might be DNS, I was just saying that it can always be a problem with one of the hops. But if it isn't on Jodohost's network, their isn't much they can do about it.

But unless it is a firewall on Jodohost's network, it still isn't their problem. I have dealt with an issue or two like this where an upstream provider for my ISP had DNS issues.

Can you try going somewhere else and trying it, like a friend's house? It really does sound like something on your end. ISP techs aren't necessarily the best answer for troubleshooting these things. If it was a Jodohost problem, there would be many more people with the same problem.
