MSSQL may work well on windows servers but Vbulletin does not. That's why I split my forums off onto another domain. I hope I can work around vbulletin's import utility needed access to mssql but it will make it more challenging to keep my users in sync. Andy

Not worth it. I have an old client that would come back if I could restore his settings which I keep in xml files. I normally back them up myself before deleting an account but this time I didn't. Not enough money in it for me to worry about it... they shouldn't have left in the 1st place...

I tried reuploading the web.config on one of them and it didn't seem to work. I'll try again on the next round of 10. At least this might fix the asp temp file issue you've been seeing on my sits. Andy

When I first change .Net versions I get the pool error. I then change it again and then it takes. I waited an hour or 2 to see if it fixed itself and it didn't. How can I recycle the pool myself? Andy
