Hi thanks for quick response .i am now using the free ''avast anti virus'' software which is about 3months old . But even if i stop the avast and also the Windows firewall it still gives same error???. Any thoughts???

Hi All forgive my ignorance if this post is not in correct section but my head is exploding under the problem i am trying to fix with Outlook 2002.(Please feel free to tell me if it needs moving to another section) I was using outlook 2002 with no problems when i was living in the uk...
